2006 Monitoring Activities

The 2006 monitoring season begins in May and will run through October. We will continue to meet the first Saturday of each month, with training sessions scheduled for March and April. Look for a schedule on our website which will be posted in February 2006. With most of the “bugs” worked out, and a chance to analyze what worked well and what didn’t work so well, a strong and effective year is in store for us. While we will continue to monitor our 10 stations with the same parameters as in 2005, there will also be additional opportunities for you to participate in bioassessment monitoring, Stream Walk Surveys, and storm drain marking.
