BEC is Here to Help
Every day we get calls from community members looking for advice on how to address environmental concerns. Here’s a short guide for who to call. If you have any questions, please call the BEC office at (530)891-6424, or call our CreekWatch Hotline at (530)891-6459 to hear a recording of the key resources below. The CreekWatch Hotline is made possible by the City of Chico Storm Water Management Program and their Keep Chico Clean Project.
Butte County Government Offices
Have you tried Butte County Connect yet? Butte County Connect allows you to report items of concern, such as road and bridge issues, garbage/junk in public, medical marijuana cultivation, water conservation violations, etc., directly to the County. In just a few steps, you can complete a short description of your concern and add a photo (optional). Your concern will be automatically routed to the appropriate County department where it will be reviewed during normal County business hours. You will be able track your submission right as the County works toward its resolution. Go to http://www.buttecounty.net/Butte-County-Connect.
